Half term is fast approaching now, with only three and half weeks to go we are thinking of fun things to do and see on the 28th and 30th October. We’re putting together a ‘whodunnit’ around the museum, will you be able to track down the clues and eliminate the suspects? We will also be encouraging the young and young at heart to don their best Halloween costumes, with treats for all those in fancy dress. I’ll certainly be dressing up!
I’ll just fill you in with a couple of bits and bobs that have happened in the past week as well. Our volunteers were at North Manchester Open Day supporting the event in aid of raising money and awareness for Women’s Aid and Victim Support. It was a great day with over 1000 people in attendance. We also hosted another successful ‘Jail and Bail’ for Fujitsu in aid of Shelter. The team raised over four hundred pound in just a couple of hours – so well done guys!
Our next event will be Christmas themed, I won’t talk about it too much yet – it is only October but look out for more details of a special Saturday coming in December.
It’s all come round so fast, it doesn’t seem like two minutes ago and it was summer holidays.
