Stephen Robin Oake

Detective Constable Oake was amongst several officers who entered a flat in the Cheetham Hill area of Manchester, as part of a counter terrorism operation. He went to the aid of his colleagues who were being violently attacked by one of the suspects being detained. Detective Constable Oake was stabbed, receiving injuries from which he later died.

He was 40.
