Our volunteers play a vital role in supporting museum staff and ensuring that the services we provide go from strength to strength. Our team consists of retired staff/officers from local police forces as well as university students and recent graduates who are or have studied related subjects such as criminology, museum studies, history and PGCEs. Together, they bring a wealth of experience, skill and expertise. There are various volunteer roles such as visitor experience, learning and collection care and our guides often wear period uniform.
